SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOODS FOR ALL
WHY LIVELIHOOD
Livelihood development is essential for sustainable poverty reduction and community empowerment. In Ethiopia, where a significant portion of the population lives in rural areas and depends on agriculture, creating diverse and resilient livelihood opportunities is crucial for economic growth and improved quality of life.
Our livelihood programs aim to enhance the income-generating capabilities of individuals and communities, particularly those who are vulnerable and marginalized. By providing skills training, supporting entrepreneurship, improving agricultural practices, and promoting financial inclusion, we help people build sustainable livelihoods that can withstand economic shocks and environmental challenges.
We believe that when people have secure and sustainable livelihoods, they can better provide for their families, invest in education and healthcare, and contribute to the development of their communities. Our approach is holistic, addressing not only the immediate need for income but also the long-term factors that contribute to sustainable livelihood development.
